The 160th Birthday of Sigmund Freud in trending is celebrated by Goggle Doodle by “Murky Depths of the Unconscious Mind”

Today we are celebrating the 160th birthday of the Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud (6 May 1856-23 September 1939) who is also known as the father of psychoanalysis. This is a clinical method in which with the help of dialogue between a psychoanalyst and a patient, psychopathology is treated. From the University of Vienna, Sigmund has qualified as a doctor of medicine in 1881. A therapeutic technique has been developed by Freud in creating psychoanalysis like the use of discovered transference and free association so as to establish its central role in the analytic process. For the elaboration of his theory of unconscious as well for the clinical analysis of the mechanism and symptom formation of repression, he was provided with the models from his analysis of dreams as wish-fulfillments.
