In Alaska, the size of the vegetables is gigantic because they receive sunlight for 20 hours per day. The size of pumpkins that grow there is as a reindeer and that of zucchinis as the arms and even taller than that. The 20 hours of sunlight is responsible for this enormous size of these vegetables.
