In order to find the solutions to the everyday problems of humans, the researchers and scientists use to do continuous struggle and efforts in their labs. Here is the list of some of the amazing creatures that are the result of the labor of scientists but look like something that comes straight from a science fiction movie.
GloFish
The zebrafish that is genetically modified is known a Glofish as it glows in the dark. This fish comes in bright luminous colors such as green, orange and red. In 1999, work on the fluorescent protein has been started by the team of Dr. Zhiyuan Gong and his colleagues which was extracted from a jellyfish. This gene was then inserted by them in a zebrafish. The Glofish has been created with the purpose of detecting the pollution by glowing in the environment where there is presence of toxin.
