In this picture, WH Murphy is seen taking two bullets on his chest while wearing his bullet proof vest which he once invented for police department. It wasthe lightweight vest which was manufactured by New York’s protective garment corporation. Later, its demonstration was conducted in Washington DC. The two bullets from .38 caliber revolver could only pierce the vest leaving Murphy unharmed.
