First Aid for a Snake Bite

According to school books and other media publications, the snake bit area needs to be sucked top stop the venom flow on the rest of the body, however, one shouldn’t delay calling the ambulance to take victim to hospital without any delay. Once the venom enters the blood stream, it is difficult to save the patient. Also during sucking, the venom might enter your mouth and esophagus. You should help the patient drink a lot of water and take him hospital as early as possible.
